Charlie Thomas has been on the front lines of Internet advertising, working with customers and salespeople, since February 1995. He has been through all 3 distinct cycles - Boom, Bust, Resurgence - and learned a ton along the way.

Charlie joined Yahoo! in the spring of 1999 after the purchase of broadcast.com, where he was VP Advertising. Prior to broadcast.com, Charlie was the VP Sales & Marketing for Time Inc. New Media. He was employed at Time Inc. for 11 years and also worked at Adweek and Young & Rubicam.

Charlie was hired as the Yahoo! Dallas Sales Director from 1999-2001 and promoted to Central Region Vice President in 2002. He held that post through 2006 and during that time the Central Region outpaced the company revenue growth, 6 people were promoted and only one left for a competitor.

He was born in Connecticut, lives with his family in Dallas, TX.
