Matt Arkin has been in media for over fourteen years, specializing in the online advertising space. Currently, Mr. Arkin is Chief Revenue Officer for Sojern where he is responsible for driving new business and engaging with leading advertisers regarding the value that Sojern delivers to advertisers, consumers and the airline industry.
Previously, Mr. Arkin was Vice President for the Danoo Media Network where he was responsible to grow the scale and revenue of the company. Prior to Danoo he worked for AOL/Platform A for three years and MarketWatch.com as Vice-President of Sales for seven years. He has been recognized as an early pioneer and innovator in the online advertising industry and his efforts to make online advertising more effective for traditional advertisers have been cited in dozens of publications covering the industry.
During the challenging period that Web Media experienced in the early 2000's, Mr. Arkin's sales teams, for three years running, were consistently listed in Forrester's studies as one of the most productive and top grossing in sales per person. The team was also awarded the ASPY for Best Overall Web Site Representation in December of 2004.
Mr. Arkin began his career with Quote.com as Business Development Manager. Prior to joining MarketWatch, Inc., he was the Western Director of Advertising Sales for Real Media.
