Vice President of Global People Development, Time Inc.

Steve Schloss is the Vice President of Global People Development at Time Inc, home to some the world’s most popular, powerful and trusted brands and successful franchises extending to online, television, VOD, satellite radio, mobile, events and products.  Steve heads up Learning & Development, Talent Management, Diversity, HR Knowledge Management and leads the HR employee communications and HR technology functions. Additionally, he led HR for numerous brand groups and served as lead HR executive for the integration of several strategic acquisitions. Prior to joining Time Inc., in 1997, Steve spent ten years as a senior HR exec at Citicorp in a variety of global leadership assignments. Steve’s career began in retail store management, then moved into retained Information Technology executive search. He served as recruitment leader for a growing software consulting firm and recruitment consultant at GE. Steve holds a BS in HR & Industrial Relations from Ithaca College and an MS in HR Management and Organizational Development from Milano, The New School for Management and Urban Policy, where he serves as a member of the adjunct faculty.
