The Media Advisory is a marketing and media consultancy founded in 2011 by advertising and marketing industry veteran Ruby Gottlieb. Ruby’s background in research, planning and buying was enhanced by a pioneer entry into digital media in the mid- 1990’s. Her expertise is in strategy development, delivering a unique cross platform perspective to marketers, media and technology companies striving to impact consumers or brand decision-makers in today’s diverse and complicated cross-platform media world.
For media publishers and technology companies, TMA assists in positioning and marketing their offerings to brand marketer and agency decision-makers as they contemplate the myriad of media partnerships and opportunities available to them. For media companies with multi-platform assets, Ruby’s frontline experience in what clients and their agency gatekeepers are looking to accomplish makes TMA an invaluable advantage to have on your side.
Trained in traditional media at NYC full-service advertising agencies, the bulk of Ruby’s career was with Horizon Media, the largest independent media services company in the US. Ruby has collaborated with all members of the marketing ecosystem --internal teams, clients and their creative, promotional and PR agencies, and a myriad of technology and research partners. Her dedication to client service is paramount to her reputation as a passionate, innovative and resourceful marketing expert.
As Horizon’s digital evangelist she migrated colleagues and clients into digital or cross-platform initiatives and developed training programs to educate them on digital marketing strategies and best practices. Working with clients like A&E, History, Geico, Ace Hardware, Bank of Montreal, IKEA, Jack in the Box and countless others, she led agency teams and clients into online, broadband video, mobile, digital out-of-home and social media.
